Technological Centre Lurederra organizes the Second RECYVAL-NANO Workshop which will take place on 30th November in Brussels at the Delegation of Government of Navarra. Conclusions on recycling of Flat Panel Displays and critical metals like indium will be promoted during the project event.
During the Workshop it will be shown the last results and advances of the project RECYVAL-NANO, coordinated by Technological Centre Lurederra and which is coming to its end. Recycling processes developed to WEEEs such as Flat Panel Displays can concentrate valuable streams of critical metals which are of a high interest in electronic and other advanced applications. The contributions framed in the RECYVAL-NANO Workshop will be focused not only on the recycling processes developed, but also will allow to know new results in applications of nanomaterials of critical materials which has been developed during the project.
Speakers experts in WEEE recycling technology and solvent extraction processes as Alex Branderhorst, Manager SHEQ at Coolrec Group and Dra. Teodora Retegan, Associate Professor of Nuclear Chemistry in Chalmers University of Technology, Dr. James Dutson, Senior Development Engineer expert in sputtering processes of TCOs and Technological Centre Lurederra with their expertise in nanoparticles production and applications will contribute with interesting lectures in their corresponding fields.
The second Workshop of RECYVAL-NANO project is founded by the European Community’s Seventh Framework Programme (FP7/2007-2013) under grant agreement nº 310312.
