Adrián Quesada, leader of the involved research group from the Institute of Ceramics and Glass of CSIC (ICV-CSIC), moved to Lurederra’s facilities for a follow-up meeting concerning the tasks involving these two entities. Within the framework of the European project BEETHOVEN, Lurederra and ICV-CSIC work closely on the synthesis of highly specific ferrites using the flame spray pyrolysis technique, FSP.
Due to this activity is in its initial phase, the meeting was necessary to review and study the results obtained in first tests. Several verifications based on magnetic measurements were carried out on the devices involved. Thus, from this in-situ evaluation, analysing both the equipment and the synthesis process, several points of action were identified, as well as possible modifications and improvements to be tested in the following tests.
