Inside Scarpa space, in the past renowned classroom regarding anatomic dissection, the consortium met to update the progress about magnet upcycling into new added-value materials for different sectors, including active pharmacological applications and chemical industry.
On the one hand, an activity block deepened in the extraction and purification processes of the cations, and on the other hand, different tests and advances were discussed related to the reactions of synthesis of catalysts and active pharmaceutical ingredients. There was also time to define new sample exchanges and even discuss first exploitable results in a specific workshop.
Finally, the magnificent academic atmosphere, sparked several training activities of the project, including soft skills related to Artificial Intelligence and a basic course about hydrometallurgy.
