Precisely, Lurederra contributes to the project with the mentioned advanced material, as one of the use cases selected in the project. The main objective of SUNRISE is developing an Assessment Framework for Safe and Sustainable by design decision making, using different tools and methodologies that can be applied to different advanced materials.<\/p>\n<p>The proposed coating from Lurederra, already implies sustainability aspects needing only one layer, directly applicable by spraying to protect metallic structures, with very low thickness compared to conventional paints, and also requiring low temperature curing or even room temperature, resulting in less energy demand for its application.<\/p>\n<p>In this context, the project studies this advanced material as well as other use cases, in a deeper way, to determine best protocols for the design, handling and application of such specific nanotechnology based solutions.
