At the meeting, all the entities participating in the project were represented with some of the members involved in the development.<\/p>\n<p>After 4 years of research and co-working between different European partners, the development of a hydrocarbon catalytic conversion system has been successfully completed, becoming an alternative to the current production process of aromatic compounds. Each of the results obtained in the course of the project were presented in Athens, as well as the goals and objectives achieved. Some relevant aspects to highlight are:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Development of a system capable of transforming biogas into high-value chemicals with yields of around 50%, with consecutive recirculations.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Efficient implementation (&gt; 95%) of complementary stages to the catalytic reactor, such as biogas purification and product separation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Identification of a promising catalyst for methane conversion, based on a core@shell zeolite.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Up-scaling of several systems and materials, such as the production of nanocatalysts through the FSP technology and the process of impregnating zeolitic supports.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, regarding the work carried out by Lurederra, the project has ended with the up-scaling of the impregnation process of the active catalytic phase and a complete and detailed environmental analysis of the developed system.<\/p>\n<p>In order to celebrate the end of the project, a summary video has been prepared and published, in which some of the project researchers have been interviewed.<\/p>\n<p>Link to the summary video of the project: \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Q_kBLWvS4ZI\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Q_kBLWvS4ZI<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"dt-pswp-item\" href=\"https:\/\/lurederra.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/113-Zeocat.jpg\" data-dt-img-description=\"\" data-large_image_width=\"651\" data-large_image_height=\"443\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5065\" src=\"https:\/\/lurederra.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/113-Zeocat-300x204.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"204\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lurederra.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/113-Zeocat-300x204.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lurederra.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/113-Zeocat.jpg 651w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ZEOCAT-3D project gets to the end, holding last March 16th, the final consortium meeting at the facilities of the DEMOKRITOS National Center for Scientific Research, in Athens.
