In this way, the project follows its progress towards the development of a closed-loop system for the recycling of wastewater from the textile industry. To this end, work is being done on the integration of new catalytic degradation approaches with highly selective separation and extraction techniques, reducing the current use of freshwater resources and considerably increasing the recovery of water, energy and other resources.<\/p>\n<p>The work that LUREDERRA is developing within the project focuses, on the one hand, on water cleaning processes through the development of resins capable of trapping heavy metals for their removal from wastewater.
